Celebrating Tom Crane's retirement from @glcommission.bsky.social after 39 years of service to the #GreatLakes region. "We couldn't accomplish anything individually," he said. "It's in collaboration that we're able to do our work and to have success in the region." Thank you & well done, Tom!

Enjoyed tour of #Fishpass yesterday. Removing barrier & water flowed over labyrinth weir for the first time! Shifting work to north side of river to begin work on fish-sorting channel. Visit www.glfc.org/fishpass.php for info & webcam views. Globally significant project here in Traverse City. Cool!

The #hexhatch last night - out in full force in the backyard, landing on the house and casting shadows on the windowsill.
