I did much more than that. I invented new cuss words for the occasion. I did have time to complete my studies for a civilian aircraft mechanic license before basic. All things considered, it could have been worse. I served in the States.

My number was 4, just 4. I went in in FEB. 72. Lucked out, got stationed in Tampa , FL. One enlistment, and out.
