Now we are living in a dystopian world, where it doesn’t matter if someone, even a child, dies… so long as it’s not our someone… or even if it is a loved one, maybe there was something wrong with them in the first place.

They have been losing and ignoring. They want to put the question : who makes the decisions, the president or the courts? They already know the answer you are going to get.

You can find slums nestled next to wealthy areas in the most developed nations. Russia should not be underestimated. They have issues but compared to the west at the moment, they (and anyone) might struggle to look worse.
