Today’s decision on screening is profoundly concerning. Black men and men with a family history still won’t be offered screening, despite facing some of the highest risks and worst outcomes.

This isn’t good enough.

Today @calvinbailey.bsky.social @helenmorganlibdem.bsky.social and Rishi Sunak MP handed in a letter to Wes Streeting, signed by 125 MPs, calling for targeted prostate cancer screening for men at highest risk.

At PMQs today, Rishi Sunak called for a targeted national screening programme for prostate cancer, backed by evidence from Prostate Cancer Research and others.

Deputy PM David Lammy voiced strong support and a personal connection to the cause.

The APPG on Prostate Cancer now has its own website. We jointly provide the Secretariat for the APPG alongside ‪@prostatecanceruk.bsky.social‬, and this new website will hold all the key information on the group’s activities through this Parliament.
