We've had a brilliant start to our PCPSce YRI Summer School in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania! Our first day consisted of some fascinating talks by experts in book history, presentations of ongoing research projects and a delightful welcome reception at Babes-Bolyai University.

The 2nd day of the General Meeting of our #COSTAction #CA23137 featured keynote lectures by Matthew Grenby, on children’s educational print; @massimorospocher.bsky.social, on the intermediality of public space; and Claire Madl and Michael Wögerbauer, on geographies of the book in Central Europe.

Today is International Women's Day, and we are launching a campaign to celebrate women researchers and innovators in our COST Action. We currently have 58 women researchers and innovators with 63% of our leadership positions are occupied by women.

As part of our #COSTAction General Meeting in February, some members of #CA23137 had the rare opportunity to visit the Kinsky Library within Prague’s Old Town Square.
