I wonder whether the F35 nuclear capable fighter jets the UK plans to purchase is really nothing more than the UK subsidising what will be US assets as the cost for the tariff reduction agreement with Trump 🤷🏻

Blue Labour = Tory/Reform

In other words, corruption.

Just realised your a RW nutter. So wasting my time with reply. 🤷🏻

Lol. US institutions have all failed to prevent a coup. They've all been corrupted. They've already been torn down. I'm just waiting to see when the fight back begins. No sign yet...

Of course it used to be illegal, back in the day when the rule of law applied. Now, not so much, in rogue state USA.

Wonder what caused sudden UK gov change of heart. Unlikely to be suffering of the people, as that was off the scale for many months. Unlikely to be ICC as that ruling also happened months ago with no result. My guess is money. Some corporation is losing money and lobbied western govs to crack down.

I share your frustration entirely

I think it's safe to say the US is no longer a country of law order. It is a kleptocracy.
May 20, 2025 at 2:30 PM
If the elections were not honest, how can we be sure Trump actually won then? 🤷🏻

Unfortunately people tend not to sponteneously 'get over themselves'. They need to be persuaded, through political (or other) leadership, which is sadly lacking here.

Johnson has always been an utter scumbag, now, when he was PM, For. Sec., London Mayor, always.
May 20, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Was it that the BBC "forgot", or did they cover up and deliberately deceive viewers because the BBC hierarchy promotes Reform UK whenever possible? And should be stopped from doing so!

I don't let them off the hook so easily. Blaming the advisor assumes Starmer et al have no agency, and just follow advice come what may. I suppose that's possible. For me, Starmer et al are the decision-makers, they're in charge, they're calling the shots , they're responsible.

Another day, another example of, "What would the Tories do?" from the Labour government.
May 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM
I guess some people haven't been paying attention. If you ask yourself, "What would the Tories do?" That's what the Labour government will do. 🤷🏻
