Hi Saoirse. Are we talking about a gloss written by the translator on their own translation, but in the language of the original text? Or some kind of editorial remark about missing text, unreadable text, corrupted text? Which the translator, rather than the editor, felt was necessary?

Someone *must* have written a book with that title. It’s so vivid!
