Here's a thread, #filmsky, of my favorite movies that I saw each month. These are new to me films, so not everything is from 2025.

In college, I thought it was just straight up hilarious but watching now I see more of the issue of poverty crashing into ambition. Also this movie is really about the anxiety connected to actually finishing a long-term creative effort #filmsky

I rewatched Almodovar's Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown this weekend. Good god this movie is so damn good. I watched it in a high school Spanish class and didn't understand it then.
The laundry commercial parody alone is worth the price of admission.
Almodovar's a visual genius!
