Blocking the phosphorus lone-pairs in bisphosphanyltetrylenes results in cationic bisphosphoniotetrylenes which stay monomeric in case of the stannylene while the corresponding plumbylene dimerizes via the anion. Many thanks to all collaborators in our study in this ICCOC-GTL special issue.
