According to a friend of mine who is trans and works in government, this proposed bathroom legislation is the first of two. The second requires all federal employees to use the bathroom of their birth gender. Which means it may become illegal for said friend to use the washroom while on the job.

Just gonna lay this out there:

To hold Federal grants I wasn't allowed to own stocks or do commercial side work without declaring it, and agreeing to divest anything considered a conflict of interest.
