An inspirational message from the ending of Pachio-kun FX.

Your childhood friend in Zoku Hatsukoi Monogatari asks you to read PC-FX manual & health information carefully.

Sit away from the TV, do not open the disc tray during gameplay, take a 15min break every hour, and consult a doctor about any muscle spasms or loss of consciousness.

I'm not sure if this Tanuki wants to be here or is trapped in a Pachinko prison, forced to consume metal balls.

The one consistent character is your childhood friend, who provides advice to help you get closer to others.

I haven't played it too much, but it sounds like part of the game is also managing your relationship with her, and as she gets older, she starts to get jealous.

The characters you can fall in love with change as your classmates change, but each seems to also include a novelty crush with someone older than you, like your elementary school teacher.

Zoku Hatsukoi Monogatari: Shūgaku Ryokō is about re-experiencing the feeling of your first love.

You can start as an elementary, middle, or high school student, with each story taking place on a school trip. In the final chapter, you're a university student.

I also was looking at the manual again and there's a couple pages dedicated to her, and one of them is advice from her on how to play the game.

Weirdly enough despite being not as emphasized as the other girls, her art has the most dynamic poses.

But I think she's suppose to come off as more cool and competent so might have made more sense to give her some strong poses.

One character that I haven't highlighted from Ojousama Sousamou is Narciss, who is a role model/mentor for the main character, providing advice on how to be a thief.

We also recently uploaded the character sketch book,
which has some art that I'll link below.

Some of the other boards are a bit more static, but have some nice full screen art.
August 17, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Unfortunately I can't recall if there's anything special about this board, but I do like the nice touch of the cherry blossom floating down the dot matrix display.
August 17, 2025 at 6:46 PM
This board largely stays the same when you enter a jackpot state, but a vaguely Indiana jones-esque theme starts playing.
August 17, 2025 at 6:46 PM
When you start playing this one the Tanuki opens his mouth for a split second and if a ball is in front of him, he'll eat it.

I've been playing Pachio-kun recently and while Dream Fantasy is probably the most produced board, a lot of others has some nice art. I wanted to share some of the boards idle animations.

This board has you shooting balls in the demon zone to wake up the angel to start scoring.

Originally, these were going to be for a social post about the last year of the system, but I was surprised how much jumped out at me once I laid the entire system library's life out.

I was digging around an old Japanese PC-FX fan site and this one has cute little icons to represent the genres of each game.

Just realized I didn't really post any of the actual art at a decent size. It's all pretty low resolution, and I'm not sure if any higher quality versions are out there.

But here's a look at some of them captured off my PC-FX.

Things get a little bit more all over the place later so its a bit harder to line things up. But they do represent the general direction that the OVA takes.
August 12, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Ojousama Sousamou has a bonus gallery with various pieces of art. The content doesn't relate to the game as much as the OVA released that same year.

While no particular piece lines up exactly, each one seems to connect with various scenes, like each girl's introduction below.
August 12, 2025 at 5:35 PM
The PC-FX character profiles in comparison are underwhelming to say the least lol, but they do give you a look at some of the portrait art in its original resolution before being downscaled for the game.
August 9, 2025 at 5:58 PM
While the PC98 version lacks color, you get these really nice large character introduction pages with sketches of the game's character portraits and key art.

The PC-FX port of the PC98 Oh My Goddess! game has some nice full-color art in the manual. I'm not familiar with the show to say if this is all unique art, but it doesn't appear in the PC98 manual.

I wasn't able to finish my PC-FX social post today, but in the meantime here's a cropped out crying Rolfee that I'm using in it.
