It is what it is. Welcome to my eclectic eccentric running account where I post my daydreams and thoughts. Phil Branigan Basingstoke based runner.

Exactly. Just look after yourself and obey how you feel. I often point out to my fellow runners that it takes only a minute to: stop, faff around with phone, focus, take pictures, carry on running. I also teach people that, when they see a bench/seat, it is designed to be sat on.

Now, this is the sort of spam I like. The light and reflection enhancing the symmetry is wonderful. Spam away please @clairestoneman.bsky.social as you have a new follower in me.

Yes, you are so right. I would rather just engage with a small following of like minded people than attempt any ‘look at me, I have a million likes!’ banal statistic. I don’t care if only one person reads my posts as, I’m just enjoying reading everyone else’s. This is not Twitter and I like it.

I agree. I’m taking it slow and enjoying my own bubble whilst intrigued by all these people creating ‘Starter Packs.’ I know I will jump into one soon but, just for now, floating around aimlessly enjoying all these refreshing random posts really suits my personality.

It’s good to be here and, I am especially grateful for the running community who are migrating here and evolving everyday

This made me laugh as, I’m the same regarding “volcanic bit.” I’m a runner and my ambition is to visit and run around the ring of fire in each country wherever possible. Foolishly dangerous I know but the lure of those types of elevated temporary trails excites me. Great photos, keep posting.

I liked that picture of the church and the road to hell. It summed up the tranquility that I seek all the time. You can’t beat being out in nature.
