Very true. I know in the deepest parts of my soul that it’s not just the “propaganda” that they are attracted to. There is a hatred towards other groups and a fear of irrelevance that powers their actions. We cannot save them from themselves. The information is right there. They choose to skip it.

The sad part is I know it’s intentional. There is no way they didn’t pick this location for this reason on accident. The cruelty is the point.

This is a great point. I would argue shaming them is not going to change decisions at the corporate level and we need something I’m sure is not your favorite subject but regulations on known offenders to ensure they don’t abuse the system and the employees providing their profits.

Another “out-group” loses their rights thanks to conservatives. It seems that’s all they are good for.. and tax cuts it seems.
They could just let everyone enjoy the natural freedoms inherent with life but apparently that is an unacceptable position for them.

The level of cognitive dissonance within the Republican Party and their “representatives” is mind numbing. It’s never a truthful discussion. He is joining for the exact reason I disagreed with Mr. Cuban about diverse views on BlueSky. They are only doing this to promote division with misinformation.

That is very true. There are a ton of groups for every type of hobbie, passion, etc. but politics has kind of become the defacto topic here and that need to evolve.

I do agree that this should be a healthy alternative to the wasteful sludge Twitter has become and that’s why it’s counterintuitive to advocate for those trolls over at Twitter come here for “ thoughtful debate”. They never want to debate ideas just to push their toxic narratives.

To be honest, it’s like you’re new to the internet with this take. Bots, trolls and the insufferable have always been out there and blocking them has always been the only way to have meaningful interactions with the public and the software codes imitating them.

Is it shared though? I think the mask is off now. There are many in this nation whose values I do not share and in all honestly I wish we would stop letting them determine how much and many of our principles, rights and values we are allowed to have.

It’s not just that it’s expensive to make in America, we don’t have the infrastructure to make every item or the raw materials. Global trade has given access to materials and resources we don’t have. But hey.. 70 million Americans want people to suffer for one man’s inadequacies so suffer we shall.
