I was in a production of “Fiddler on the Roof” about 15 years ago. A bottle would fall from a bottle dancer would fall during every rehearsal until the 1st performance. No bottle fell during any of the performances. It was impressive.

Top 5 musical. Topol was made to play Tevye. Zero Mostel (who originated it on Broadway) would have been miscast in the film. So great.

I’ve seen people compare his play at the end of the 3rd to MJ. I have yet to see people compare him as a player to MJ.
