You’re forgetting Sharon Davies. A long history of anti-trans campaigning but not forced to resign. Even ennobled the same week for campaigning over many years. The problem was not that Robin expressed views on (the same) “contentious topic”. It’s that he expressed the wrong one.

If Starmer had a choice between Farage and Polanski we all know he'd pick Farage. He's not been put in power to challenge the establishment and his party won't be changing however bad the polls get.

I was directly involved in briefing Labour on just how bad the situation is REPEATEDLY for YEARS before the election. This is the most blatant dishonesty. If Labour is seriously claiming they didn't know how bad the situation was, it is wilful ignorance on their part and utter political malpractice.
