Thank you Kent, especially the "old-school" part. Yep, that's exactly the spirit. It would be nice to get your data in the process and sell you something later. But why not just doing the right thing?

Is this all X's fault? Could the indie maker community have shrunk? I left X for two years so I can easily think of this scenario.
