Re-watched “A Day Without A Mexican” (2004) last night on Prime Video. It could have been filmed this month. Underlying story is still true. Nothing ever ‘effin changes except La Migra is now DHS/CPB/ICE instead of INS.

My wife’s been flying to San Diego 1-2 x a month for a year now to take care of her mom. We got up at o-dark 30 to drive to PDX and catch a flight to the Big Island for our 46th. Imagine our surprise when Alaska gave us an upgrade to First Class! Coincidence, but well received.
