Is that with a 3 way tie with GSV and Fever at 23-21? Since Seattle don’t have tiebreaker with Fever. I had thought Fever got at least 7 seed. But I’m not familiar with rules for 3 way tie.

Seems like a better deal if Fever offered Smith and the #8 pick, but likely Satou just had a preference to join the Liberty.
