Not sure if its already implemented but im pretty sure that is the goal. Faster and more accurate for a sport driven by analytics.

Baseball’s beauty is its flaws bad calls, lucky bounces, human error. AI might give "perfection", but perfection is boring unless its 9 innings of pure pitch perfection and the unity of a team.
