The Blue Jays player development center in Dunedin, Tampa was built strong to stand against the tropical weather they face down south. They received little damage during hurricane Milton which is great for the Blue Jays. This helped avoid a big headache for the Jays!

In 2016 the Winnipeg Jets hosted a Heritage Classic Game that brought in many fans from all over the place, including me! Wayne Gretzky played in the alumni game. It was so cool to watch him play and see the success it brought to Winnipeg.

An example of deviance in sport is Brad Marchand licking multiple opponents while playing against them. It is normal to chirp or fight an opponent, but licking is out of the norm. It is so abnormal that the league didn’t really know how to handle the situation.

With my full time career I will wake up earlier in order to go workout, mixing both a lift as well as cardio. I will also be a full time hockey coach, which allows me to be involved with youth sport.

That is a great idea Rylee! There are many free programs that make a challenging, quick workout!

Our UofR Hockey Teams do something called Cougar Cubs throughout the hockey season. They are on the ice once a week, every week to encourage young hockey players to try new skills while skating with their role models (the players)!! It is a fun way to learn in a friendly environment.

I feel like female hockey players experience this with a wage gap. The difference in pay between the NHL and PWHL is sickening. Male hockey players make millions and the highest paid female hockey player is about $100k

I think sport should have a competitive edge that consists of skill where there is success and failure. I believe that you should learn and adapt to create a higher skill set. So therefore I think poker would be considered a sport just as much as it is hockey.

I agree with you Rylee!
