It’s all coming together so damn well! George Mann I love you and your work. Didn’t realize how much I was missing Reath until this book. Azlin is so damn cool and mysterious. I need to see where all these characters end up. Also super creepy awesome body horror stuff with Sicarus?? AAH I need more!

Even though Im not a fan of Ram, I was sad he was hardly in this book. Extremely lackluster for me as it followed characters I wasnt attached to, introduced a new and bland villain, and barely moved THR plot forward. I liked the inclusion of the Hutts and need to see what will become of the Nameless

Finished this a few days ago & it wasn’t bad. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Ram from his appearance in phase1 but it was really fun to see how the Occlusion Zone & war has changed Ram in the past year. That alone makes this one super fun to read. I look forward to see these kids in Beware the Nameless

After 4 months I finally finished. Clearly this was a slog for me to get through. I love Thrawn, Zahn and the first canon trilogy. But I found it very hard to get through this. A galaxy familiar but alien to Star Wars and rich with its own history and system is so interesting but a lot to digest.

Forgot to put my thoughts here but I was pleasantly surprised by Skeleton Crew! I do think this would have worked better as a movie but overall a fun weekly adventure. The kid actors are amazing and had such great chemistry together. Jude Law’s Jod is super interesting and I need more from him.

I’m such a huge fan of these larger than life, neo gothic, grunge and gritty cities in media. It itches such a niche part of my brain that I wish I could visit these cities or sets and live there forever.

And I was very lucky to meet her earlier this year. 😁

Definitely going to take me a bit to get through this since I’m so busy but I’m excited to finally start the Thrawn: Ascendancy trilogy!

1st review of my new Star Wars media thread!

Overall this was a fine, contained story. However, I literally just watched Jenny Nicholson’s video about the Star Wars hotel so I was so completely taken out of this book by the inclusion of the Halcyon Cruise Ship. Best and worst part of the book.
