It's good to try, even symbolically. But it is also true that the amount they are carrying on board is a drop in the bucket and so much of the focus is on "brave" (mostly) Europeans, some with celebrity status; it's like an action film.

I used a Kinesis keyboard during my Phd. and Post-doc. Was great for coding and writing!
