I tested this for rural Chautauqua County NY. Most of the suggestions were for nat'l organizations rather that local ones that I knew about. HOWEVER, if you are a local organization (or know someone in one), go into the site and add them. And for anyone that needs help....

Sort of dumbfounded about the spectrum of decomposition of the gooseberry lantern that leave a ripe and tasty berry. I can harvest year round from the bush and the ground. The re-seed freely so I’m happy to share seedlings with local folk.

Prepping 4 a quilt guild charity sew day, enjoyed going thru scrap & donated fabrics to find interesting &thematic kits that they could sew up quickly. Played with fabrics (my favorite part)

Palo Alto Art gallery exhibit on Textiles & Technology (thru 4/6/25) was fascinating combo of virtual and physical textile weaving. Ended the for appetizers and art activities. Here are my weavings.

The new United terminal at SFO is a visual delight and includes an interactive “gate” that that includes multiple electronic spinning designs that stop and start when you walk on them. The video of it seems to have disappeared from my library.
