in my experience- i was super overwhelmedand and didnt enjoy it but once i started to get the hang of navigating it i had a blast. stick with it through act 1 at least imo

this excerpt in particular is from Into The Light, one of the later ones, but I've been really pleasantly surprised at the quality and consistency of the line as a whole

a trope existing does not mean a queer character can never die. queer characters & people of color being central and important in narratives -- especially naratives like this -- will inevitably mean that they're not untouchable. if they move through a story with bulletproof armor, it means nothing
