Friend in GA voted for Harris. Apparently there they get a printout or email of their vote. Her printout said she voted for Trump. She had to go back, re-vote, verify. How many people did that happen to who didn’t notice?

I’m betting the athletes on the sport team who are competing with the other sportiest team got their ballpuck into the opposing goal hole for a touchdown home run basket score. Goooooo sports team!

The parking lots didn’t have “compact” spots, and they were great for pulling over into so you could check your paper maps. :)

As for phones… all of them had phone books so you could look up who you wanted to call. And yeah.. everyone carried coins (and bills!). Debit cards were science fiction.

Yep. Also I’m not sure where he got the huge cars thing. By the 80s the cars were way smaller than earlier. Huge cars was a 1970s and before thing. I guess it’s maybe because people were still driving 70s cars in the 80s.

I don’t think it’s just you. I do feel more sensitive to these things as I get older, though mostly when they occur during certain hours (say between 9pm and 9am). I’m old and I’m trying to get some sleep, you whippersnappers!

I haven’t drawn anything in about 22 years. Came back and started lurking around for a variety of reasons. It’s uplifting and fascinating to see how things have changed and I feel that doing things like supporting and helping artists through these tips as well as just keeping the community is key.
