Some time in 2021 I "laid in a bathtub, melancholy, sipping dessert wine and hearing for the first time a recording of Beethoven's last piano sonata," and I still don't have the words— How do I tell you what that was like? How do I talk about it? The piece is a deep-tissue massage for the emotions.

Both of their remnants were eventually custardized (did you know french toast and bread pudding are basically the same thing?)

I spent a few months during the summer working on this Bach prelude, and I never recorded the whole thing. But I haven't been playing it recently, and I can tell my brain space for this one is on the way out. On impulse, grabbed my phone, did one rusty take, 3m bsky video limit, ok whatever.

Followed a recipe for stuffed roasted onions. #puppychef Notes:
1) This is a lot of onion... I see why it would be important to leave only 2 layers behind.
2) The filling was DELICIOUS, but the assembly was a lot of work; ideal form is probably just a couscous salad.
