That would be your choice, but why? They dropped the policy a long time ago.
This was a thing they tried in the 1990s, and it didn’t even last an entire year before they dropped it because men were being extra as usual and women were attacking employees for flirting with their man.

Obviously, there’s going to be exceptions to this; certain genres and series will appeal primarily to that 10% of physical only buyers, and key cards will see middling sales.

I can’t speak to the veracity, but little things point to it being human written. Nevertheless is more common in AI writing while people use nonetheless, for example.
It is a frustrating time to be a proofreader, when you have to actually know and coherently explain these word traps to authors 😵💫
