My hubby thought I was overboard by stocking up our pantry and freezer and by dry canning goods. Now, he's thankful that I was doing so. We are barely 1 month into this regime, and each day's news is significantly worse.

I've been doing the same. At first, my spouse thought it was overreacting, but doesn't think that anymore. Worse case, we are well stocked for quite a while.
