This shit pisses me off because so many young autistic people will experience these same feelings. They say they want to "protect children" while they are actively harming so many.

Limiting education that could potentially play a role in letting autistic kids feel seen will harm them. As a kid i felt alone. When i was 8 i was diagnosed with ptsd induced depression, and in 6th grade i completely stoped going to school. I was treated so horribly because of lack of education 2/?

Something i dont see talked about is this will have an effect on young disabled individuals too. As an autistic person, ive wanted short hair FROM THE BEGINNING. Even before i was trans. Long hair causes sensory issues for young girls. Brushing hair can be a legitimate trigger. This is sick.
