I would like to report that Coco got out of bed at 3:30 am and did not want to go outside. I sat down next to her to figure out what she wanted and she put her head on my shoulder and I gave her a hug for about 30 seconds. Then she turned around and got back in bed.

Just wanted to say I love dogs and thinking about dogs and how their brains work all the time is keeping me going.

Does anyone in Portland/Vancouver area want to adopt an extremely sweet dog who came to the shelter extremely scared. He wouldn't leave his kennel for weeks. With a lot of hard work by volunteers he's been going on short walks now. I suspect he was never outside where ever he was before.

Coco likes to watch tv but she gets too hyped up with dog movies. We tried Homeward Bound and Hotel for Dogs. Too exciting. Now I'm trying Blue's Clues for a more chill, less realistic dog experience. She's watching! (Thank god her show didnt end up being Paw Patrol).

if you want a dog please adopt one from a shelter. There are so many dogs in need of homes and there are so many puppies to choose from if you want a puppy. There are doodles and purebreds. If you're up for it, adopt an older adult dog and give them a chance to really settle in. Worth it, imo.

My all time favorite story is during the early pandemic in a family zoom I had a bunch of stuffed animals behind me and my mom said "Paula made all those Pikachus!" And while I do crochet stuffed animals, none of the ones on screen were handmade, nor were any of them Pikachu

Have you ever picked up your phone while you were petting your dog and your dog (wisely) knocks it out of your hand? My dog is smarter and understands more about life than me.

Also, she is classy
