For me it used to work but just got broken recently.

Update: looks like shortcuts to Iceberg have some issues with Iceberg dynamic tables in Snowflake. For standard Iceberg tables new data seems to be synchronized correctly. Problem reported to Microsoft.

Things got worse. I rerun the row count query and it returned the correct number (150001), then added one more row in Snowflake, rerun row count in Fabric and… got a permanent 1 (table preview displays only the newest row) 😬 The real row count is 150002. Auch…!

And for practical reasons its worth checking a REST API for shortcuts. You can create them using code. I’ve put some PySpark together: github.com/pawelpo/Fabr...
