You’re telling me you can understand how painful it must be for a deep sea creature to swim to the surface but can’t comprehend why indigenous folk don’t want to leave their land no matter the compensation is beyond me

No hate to the fish of course, but it is frustrating to see society at large cry and deeply mourn over a deep sea fish dying but not bat an eye over the death of black, brown, queer, or disabled folk
