If these two suburbs are genuinely at risk of flooding from a higher than usual tide I would hope it would warrant more than a text alert given both are over 340m above sea level.

The spiders have been busy this year. Everything around the outside of the house seems to appeal to them, including my mirrored mobile.

New shoes! And they came in the cutest packaging.

The view this morning.
A landscape photograph, in colour. The view is from high up. It has trees in the foreground. The mid ground has rolling tree-covered hills, and the coastline. Above that is the sea, then the sky filled with clouds. The air is a bit hazy making it hard to see where the sea ends and the sky begins. The bits of sky visible through the clouds are bright, bright blue at the top of the picture, fading down to a pale grey blue at the horizon. It’s taken early in the morning when the sun is still low enough to be behind some of the trees. The sunlight is coming from low on the left making some of the trees appear in silhouette, and to cast dark shadows across the foreground.

I feel like the weather app might be exaggerating a bit.

It’s that time of year again, oh yes it is.
