It mirrors the dangers of personal gambling putting self and family at risk. Our economy gambles not just with money but with the existence of our biosphere and the billions of people the economies funded into existence so it had buyers to support it. Always debt to futures. Cannibalistic dead end.

Without products of plastic and forever chemicals, driving, flying, walking, eating, having shelter, cooking, cleaning, fishing, farming, surfing, hiking, climbing, surviving, and profiteering, become far less accessible to humans. It’s what our planet needs now that it’s inundated with plastic.

This is interesting because all of those numbered statements are true of urban planning, but stated this way shows some statements to be at odds with others. Some have to do with growth, and others include limiting sprawl.
