It seems to be either a lack of awareness or physicality. You need to want to be first otherwise you'll get bullied especially when someone has the run on you.

I played as a C Half,at set pieces even at a crap level the rule is was always 1st to the ball,why do we allow teams to out muscle us at corners,its about winning individual battles,we have to get our mentality right,mark up also leave 3 plyrs on the halfway line,they can’t throw everyone forward.
I hate the metric but our xg is much better under Ruben which suggests we are playing better but not always getting the rewards. We wasted so many chances on the edge of the box today and also defended idiotically at others. We're desperate for good goalscorers.
