As a viewer, this is why I pay for YouTube Premium. I never get any ads when watching. I some of the money goes to the creators I watch in place of the ad revenue.

I use Linux Mint and have only changed a few customisation settings using options within the system. I use it to run the software I need for my work reliably with no nagging or spying, not to play with the operating system.

It all seems very crude now but at the time, like the ZX81 itself, it was an affordable introduction to computers.

I had one of those back in the day. The paper was the right width for cassette box inserts so all my home recorded cassettes had these silver-ish track listings. I remember the smell as it burnt away the silver to reveal the black underneath.

I had a pair of those back in the day, used freestanding. From memory they sounded good by comparison to the typical beige speakers or the time.

This is why many popular Linux distros include LibreOffice or offer it in their package managers, but very few include or offer OpenOffice.
