One of my favorite photos. Swedish cavalry conducts an exercise combining horse-cav and helicopters, 1961. They were ultimately 'de-horsed' later in the 60s; their heritage lives on in the Army Ranger Battalion, which is currently being reformed as the 4th Cavalry Regiment.
