Admitting that social constructs are absurd & bewildering means they have to admit they’re personally overwhelmed & bewildered by it. And self-deprecation goes against the grain. They can never risk admitting they’re weak. Especially the men.

I remember visiting Versailles a few years ago. Looking at all that wealth & opulence…I can’t help but wonder what the Paris mob thought when they finally broke in.

To be 100% fair, the Tottenkopf pre-dated the nazi regime, having first been adopted following the death of Kaiser Wilhelm I.
However, like many things the nazis touched, it is now ruined for life. Today you have to look *hard* to find a non-nazi example of it in use.

Netflix has a good documentary on the killdozer called ‘Tread.’ It includes extended cuts from the guy’s recorded…manifesto(?) that really drives home how unhinged he was. Also, it was an absolute miracle that he failed to kill anyone, because he was definitely trying.
