I don't seen an reason why we need AI generated images or video either. The purpose seems to be only to deceive.

It is fucking disgusting. Some women become surrogates because they find rewarding or because of empathy from a close family member havjng fertility issues. We had our kids through IVF and there still some people who try potray that is immoral or some other shite. Weird busy-bodies.

Many of Labour's ministers are a total embarrassment. I am not defending that. And I'm not sure how they could have sold it as a ' long-shot' anyway because it would have totally undermined the point in taking those diplomatic steps to begin with.

Every man and his dog knew that Starmer's efforts were likely to fail, but it would have been more irresponsible not to actively try.

That doesn't count for much. There two available choices were to agree with his efforts and diplomacy or to disagree and call it a waste of time. It was always highly likely the attempt would be in vain but it doesn't negate the need to try.

It is easy to say in hindsight that Starmer was wasting his time and debasing himself by courting Trump, but it was the least bad option at the time.

Vance would go in knowing he is on a short leash. Also the vacuum left by Trump within the movement would crater the right entirely and the next 3 years would just be infighting and popcorn for the masses.
