Looks like America is now officially a police state and we should drop any pretense of this country being a free democracy that follows the rule of law and due process. Anyone who voted for Trump or continues to support him is a traitor to this nation.

Well, Trump simply decided to tear down the East Wing of the White House, one of the most architecturally significant and historic structures in the Nation’s Capital, and it was done without anyone knowing about it until the entire wing was just gone.

More issues with corrupt or racist sheriffs flouting laws, engaging in inappropriate or unprofessional behaviour, and claiming extra-Constitutional powers that they don't actually have but act as if they do. Investigations and reforms urgently needed.

While Trump is sending in ICE agents into Christian churches to round up Latinos at worship, he also wants to invade Nigeria to protect Christians who are being threatened.

There have been many cases of parents of young children, even ones adopted, who only later in adulthood learn that they are not citizens, usually because their (typically) citizen parents either failed or didn't realize that separate applications for citizenship for children were required.

Any peace plan for Gaza would be better received without Trump's direct involvement or having his name associated with it. His name and involvement are like poison pills for whatever he attempts to accomplish.

What a shame that regional countries refused to meet with Biden to promote such a plan prior to the destruction of Gaza. None would criticize Hamas for the massacres or make effort to spare Gazans from what they knew would be a devastating war. Most M.E. countries were carved out after WWI or II.

Universal health care is necessary to reign in costs but there needs to be protections to prevent zealous politicians or government agencies from interfering with medical practice for moral or personal beliefs & opinions. Now, one's employer or government agencies can make patient health decisions.

The health insurance industry is self destructing due to excessive greed. Any premium extensions has to be short term while the government takes on catastrophic risks and the health insurance companies are stripped down to administering claims and reporting potential fraud.
