Thanks John and all the best to you at Christmas. My dad’s father died when he was five also, leaving dad as the eldest of three brothers in the 30’s. Tough period but he never complained about his life. 👍

Good to see a happy time line today Alex. Five years ago today my dad sadly died. We have the happy memories that it was a life lived to the full and he stuck to what he commonly said ‘Give more than take.’ 🥲 Enjoy every moment with those you love. 👍

I put a ND filter on to make it a long exposure so that the fisherman walking over the water looked almost ghost like.

There is a research programme that has an effective contraceptive for squirrels; the problem is how to get the Greys to take it in a bait that cannot be got by other species. Several years off becoming a reality I suspect.
