Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire - Loved this more than I thought. Won’t be to everyone’s taste but as an anime/video game fan, the Titan lore, break-neck pace, monstrous action + visuals really captivated me.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga - My favourite film of the year. Just like Fury Road, it is an incredible cinematic achievement. Breathless, pulsating action with so much done using practical effects.

The Fall Guy - Loved it. Have always been in awe of the meticulous planning & execution of ambitious stunt sequences. The film celebrates that under-appreciated craft & interweaving a really entertaining blockbuster narrative with action, romance & comedy. All performances overflow with charisma!

The Day of the Jackal (Peacock/Sky) - One of my favourite TV series this year. Executed with a crisp slickness that is so satisfying to watch. Pacey plotting & avoids protracted character exploration that can be a pitfall of the assassin sub-genre.
