Out dog-walking with a friend in Scarborough this afternoon. We'd heard that Bareca at the Bike & Boot hotel is dog-friendly and it was. So much so that they were offering a free visit to Santa Paws for anyone eating in today. Santa told us they've had 70 dogs & pup visitors. What a great promo!

Stunning sky looking southwest from the top of Crawleyside this afternoon. It's been a tough day saying goodbye to our 16yo dog. Five miles of Weardale fresh air and endless views helped me feel better.
