I had the honor of supporting Brazil's G20 presidency coordination as a UNDP Consultant at the Foreign Ministers Meeting this week. It was an incredible learning experience and I even made a surprise appearance on the cover of one of Brazil’s biggest newspapers 🤓

Just finished The Poppy War trilogy vol. 1! R. F. Kuang is an amazing writer, weaving Chinese history with fantasy, humor, irony, horror, brutality, and loads of fire. Already onto vol. 2—couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend!

PS: Intrinseca’s Portuguese translation is great!

On Sep 29, I defended my dissertation (”China and the Cinema: Soft Power, Strategic Narratives, and Relations with the United States”) at the University of Brasilia. Grateful for my supervisors, the esteemed scholars who reviewed my work, and everyone who supported me! Onward as a Doctor in IR!
