Being a first generation Canadian I still have many relatives in Germany. It is time to step away from the reliance on USA. It's a sad day but cannot dwell on the past. Time for the EU to stand up as USA steps away from supporting NATO. Hard to imagine this new reality. Canada will align with EU

I've been using signal for 10 years ago since it's early days. Been trying to move my family away from FB messenger and WhatsApp. Tough to change. I have two people that I communicate with consistently on the app.

PM-designate Carney will be Trump's foil & Canada's hope. The funny thing is if Trump refers to him as Governor Carney he will reply yes, that is one of my titles. He was Governor of the Bank of Canada (2008-2013) and Bank of England (2013-2020). Looks like a late April/early May election.

Living in Canada now for 30 years & having lived in CA & OR for 6 years I understand the draw of unfettered capitalism. Unfortunately this has created the dark side of America... greed & grift. Never enough, always want & consume more. Oligarchy doesn't give a damn about anyone but themselves...
