What did you all make of Newcastle v West Ham last night? Newcastle really should be winning matches like that imo. Isak came close on a few occasions. On another day, a haul. But it was a poor second half from
Newcastle. Hall showed attacking glimpses but not much composure. Gordon v quiet. #fpl

Interesting interview with Amorim. Suggests he thought Bruno F was better on the ball, and therefore in a deeper lying role. Praised Amad’s work (inc defensive). Not sure how to interpret the Mazraoui comments when they were forced by the interviewer’s question. #fpl

Becoming clearer by the week that #Liverpool need a new left back. Would bring one in during January and give them 6 months to settle in as understudy. Robbo an all time great who would remain a great presence in the squad.

What do people think of Man Utd’s new shape and performance from a #fpl perspective? Bruno still chief prompter. Garnacho will get a lot of chances in that inside left channel. Defence needs time to reorganise but Onana was solid.

As the remaining Haaland owners rush to sell (including me!), given the dismal shape City are in, anyone worried that the game is now slipping inexorably toward a template? You can afford pretty much anyone you want if you don’t have or need to have Haaland. The jeopardy goes.

That City performance was so poor. No legs in midfield, no dynamism. A team ageing in front of our eyes. Walker outpaced. Thought their form was a blip up until now. It reminded me of some Man Utd performances under ETH. Haaland and Lewis going asap. #fpl

Lucas Digne vs Ezri Konsa…
Fplreview has suggested I make the Lewis -) Digne move & wondered what others think. I know Digne has been a troll before, but I’m willing to overlook that.
Digne feels like a rotation risk, but has started all 11 games & played 60+ mins in all but 1

I’m finding league fixtures slightly misleading atm. Liverpool, for instance, have a UCL matches vs Real and away vs Girona and, later on, an away match vs Southampton in the carabao cup to factor in. A lot of tricky fixtures where you can’t play much of the second string. #fpl #liverpool

What does #fpl bluesky recommend? 1FT, zero in bank. Thinking the big Norwegian robot may have to go to isak, allowing rogers / Semenyo to BrunoF. Would be first hit of the season but reckon it pays back asap
