I went to the Sony exhibition last year. The venue is not right if they want to show that many images and viewing them is frankly uncomfortable. This was after seeing Burtynsky in the space of the Saatchi Gallery though!

Whilst I support this campaign I find it a little rich that the newspapers are concerned about losing out when they are notorious for not wanting to pay photographers for news images if obtained from outside their usual sources.

Great idea to do a home gallery. In our village people open their gardens once a year for charity. The arty types could do similar annually. For stuff at work I’m trying to get access to empty units. Stand a better chance if owned by the council. Still listening with my dog weekly.
