Jack was also the teller of dreadful dad jokes, like the time he went to Munich, ordered dry white and got three glasses.

He also had the kind of distinctive voice that made everybody want to impersonate him (affectionately) and he once only came third in a Jack Steggles-soundalike competition behind Steve Stammers and Nigel Clarke
