Whenever I have a large meal with no veggies, a couple hours later I find myself grazing at the fruit bowl.

It’s amusing that we think of ourselves as more than just mech suits for our gut bacteria.

We are puppets.

We got a bit of sunshine this morning so I spent it sitting by the window playing guitar. Not a bad start to the weekend.

I decided to treat myself to a new guitar. It’s probably the nicest guitar I’ve ever owned!

Banking in the US is so slow. It can take days for payments to show up in your account!

@jason.energy I just watched your most recent video and it is so good! It’s good big “reality tv for nerds” energy!

This is a great video on how AI and programming meet. It matches closely on how I feel software development will be changed by AI. Just as a spoiler, it’s a lot, but not in ways that matter that much.

I need #monitor #recommendations! I want something that I can use with my MacBook during the day for work, preferably with a single usb cable that also will do a decent job of pc gaming.

This weekend I replaced the brakes and discs on my car. A little out my wheelhouse, but it’s not a complicated job. Or it shouldn’t have been. Who ever last put the wheel on absolutely mangled the studs, so I had to change a bunch of those. That was very much out of my wheelhouse, but I got it done!

I have some thoughts on ActivityPub vs the AT Protocol. Firstly, I the the protocols are more interesting than the products currently built on them (Mastodon and friends vs Bluesky).

ActivityPub was one of the first attempts to create a protocol for decentralised social media.
