I just looked up Tammy Duckworth’s district office and left a message, for instance, even though I’m not in her state, because having lost two legs in Iraq she's a symbol of sacrificing for her country, and would be a powerful addition to the chorus supporting them.

We can also call Democratic Senators and House members with military or security backgrounds and encourage them to speak out in support. It’s a “Spartacus moment.” We don't even have to live in their state, because it's a national crisis that affects all of us.

This highlights the link between Putin and the Trump administration, an ongoing vulnerability currently in the news. And it also underscores the value of the democracy that we’re now having to fight for.

It was even worse in the Sunday digital edition, completely buried even below stories on how to properly button your shirt. We gave them feedback on their form, which seems important to press them to cover this movement more seriously going forward
